Rajasthan, also known as the “Land of Maharajas” is a famous tourist attraction. It talks of lavish forts, magnificent palaces, royal tigers and flamboyant festivals that light up the charm of the state. Rajasthan’s big-ticket attractions are its magnificent forts and palaces. The forts loom from mountain tops; their battle-scarred ramparts still defy the long-dead enemies. Spiked doors that once held war elephants at bay open onto palaces are now an architectural marvel. The state houses many such attractions, be it; Hawa Mahal, Ranthambore’s Tiger Trail, City Palace, Badi Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, Pushkar Ghats, Dilwara Temples, etc. Although these attractions are located in different cities, Rajasthan is best known as a combination of all these cities. So even if it is Jaipur or Udaipur, Ranthambore or Pushkar, Mount Abu or Jodhpur, your experience is going to be extraordinary.

When you arrive at Jaipur Airport, you will be welcomed by our associate and be escorted to your hotel.
You will begin exploring the tourist attractions around the city, after your check-in process.
The first checkpoint for the day is the City Palace. Like most of the other structures in Jaipur the palace also reflects a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Fun fact, is that the palace occupies one seventh of the old city of Jaipur. It includes various courtyards, gardens and buildings within its complex itself. The palace also served as a residence for the former Maharaja of Jaipur.
Right outside the City Palace, you will find a plethora of local retail shops. You can take some time to visit the shops and see if the products interest you.
Well, it was a tiring day and it is time to catch up on some rest after a delicious dinner at the hotel.
Just like day 1, day 2 is going to be lots of fun. So make sure you are done with your breakfast routine and are all set to visit the other attractions in the city.
Your first attraction of the day is the Hawa Mahal. The Hawa Mahal is a beautiful many windowed architectural wonders, also known as the “Palace of the Winds’. It holds a total number of 953 Jharokhas in the entire complex. It was actually built in 1799, for the royal women to peep out of the windows and enjoy the processions and street events.
The next attraction in Jaipur is the Amber Fort. The most interesting thing about the fort is its elephant ride. Well, kids definitely are in for a treat. The fort is situated uphill and to avoid this hurdle, the elephants come to your rescue. Once you reach the fort, you will be stunned by the intricate work of architecture that it displays.
Just before sunset, the best place to be at is the Jantar Mantar. The Jantar Mantar is the largest observatory in all of India and was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. To understand the reason why Jantar Mantar was constructed, you must sit down for the light show, which talks about Jaipur and JantarMantar. The vivid colors and creative narration will really make you appreciate the beauty of this place.
End your day, by heading back to your hotel followed by dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Get ready to hit the road, post your breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be travelling to Jodhpur and the distance you need to cover is 338.8 km. It should take you not more than 5 hours 50 minutes to reach your destination.
Upon arrival, you complete your check-in procedure and then head out to scout through the city. The first destination on your itinerary is the Umaid Bhavan Palace. Built in the year 1944, it derives its names from the then Maharaja, Raja Umaid Singh. The architecture of the place is an example of the art-deco and the Indo-colonial style of the ’30s. Well, all we can say is that you should have a look for yourself and trust us, you will not be disappointed.
The next destination in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. Not just the fort, but the museum here is also worth your time. The fort derives its name from Mehr-Garh, where “Mehr” means sun and “Garh” is a fort. It is amongst the largest and most beautiful forts of India and is one of the major attractions frequented by tourists.
Post this tiring, yet satisfying day, you can make your way back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
On day 4 you will be leaving Jodhpur and will be heading towards Jaisalmer, by road. It should take you around 4 hours and 29 minutes to reach your destination. Once you reach Jaisalmer and have taken some rest, you can head out to visit the tourist attractions of the city.
The first attraction in Jaisalmer is the adventure sports at the Thar Desert. There are a plethora of sports that you can choose from, be it; paragliding, quad biking, dune bashing or even a desert safari.
If you are an adventure loving person then you are in for a treat at the desert.
We are sure, adventure sports and the 4-hour travel has made you tired. To catch up on some rest and have some refreshing food, you can head back to your hotel.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and be ready to explore the city further.
Today, you will be the guest of the Patwon Ki Haveli. It is an interesting piece of architecture and is the most important, among the havelis in Jaisalmer. This is because it was the first havelis ever built in Jaisalmer. You can find a good amount of paintings and mirror-works on its walls and the other important aspects are gateways and arches.
The next interesting attraction is the Jaisalmer Fort, also known as the desert fort. They say, from 50 km. away, visitors see a sheer golden cliff, rising nearly 25 stories from the desert floor. The walls, of rich yellow sandstone shimmer like a mirage. Well then, let’s go and see for ourselves.
We thought it would be best to end the day with a patriotic feel. Hence, we have chosen the Indo-Pak border to be your final destination in the city. Well, this place is all about the feeling. You can also meet some of the brave soldiers at the border who guard our nation.
It is time we make our way back to the hotel and start packing up for the departure tomorrow.
Just like good things, your Jaipur – Jodhpur – Jaisalmer holiday package has come to an end. Make sure you have an early breakfast and head to the airport in time for your flight back home. We hope we were of comfortable assistance to you and we wish to see you again, soon.
