Itinerary

Day 1Chandigarh to Shimla

Arrive at Chandigarh Railway Station & drive to Shimla which is 2180 meters above sea level. Spend the day at leisure by exploring the Mall.

Overnight Stay.

Day 2Shimla - Sarahan

Drive from Shimla to Sarahan (2165 meters above sea level). On your way, visit Theog, Fagu, Narkanda and Rampur.

After arrival at Sarahan, check in to the hotel. Overnight Stay at Sarahan.

One can catch the breathtaking panoramic view of the Srikhand Mahadev Peak from Sarahan. Sarahan is also famous for its 800-year-old Bhimkali Temple, one of the best examples of hill architecture. Attend the evening aarti at the Bhimkali temple, which is also one of the 51 Shaktipeeths.

Day 3Sarahan - Sangla

After breakfast, drive for Sangla via Karcham. Visit another destination known as Baspa valley, the prettiest valley in Himachal. After arrival at Sangla (2744 meters above sea level), check- into the hotel.

Rest in the hotel and spend the day at your own leisure.

Day 4Sangla - Nako - Tabo

This morning after breakfast we’ll leave for Nako Lake via Reckong Peo, this is one of Kinnaur`s most picturesque hamlets, Nako is slated to be declared a heritage village built around a small lake and has an important Buddhist Gompa and small temples. A footprint like impression on a rock is ascribed to the saint Guru Padmasambhava.

Overnight Stay at Tabo.

Day 5Tabo - Kaza

After Breakfast leaves for Tabo. It is one of the most important gompas, not just in Spiti but in the whole of the Tibetan Buddhist world.

There also’s modern gompa and painting school founded by the Dalai Lama. Even Today Tabo holds the distinction of being the largest monastic complex in Spiti, constructed in 996 AD. En route to Dankar Gompa.

Day 6Kaza Sightseeing

After Breakfast leave for Kaza Sightseeing by visiting Ki Monastery & Gete Village (Highest Motorable Connected Road in World) & Kibber Village for the ancient monastery built on what is believed to be have been a crater of an extinct Volcano.

The Gompa situated above the village is one of the best-preserved in the region. On the return journey to Kaza, you are rewarded with some excellent views of the Damul Village.

Day 7Kaza - Chandertal

Morning after breakfast we will leave for Chandratal Lake by crossing Kunzam Pass (15,100ft) and reach Baltal then change a vehicle to Sumo to proceed to Chandratal lake. On a way have a magnificent view of CB Ranges Peaks.

This Deep Blue Water Has A Circumference Of 2.5 Kms and is the Source Of the River Chandra. According To Some Believers this is the Spot from where the God Indra’s Chariot took the Eldest Pandava Brother Yudhistra to Swarga (Heaven) in his Mortal Form.

Full day is at Leisure to enjoy the beauty of beautiful lake and natural surrounded Snow peaks.

Overnight Camping at Chandratal Lake.

Day 8Chandertal - Sissu

After Breakfast leave for a nice long drive along the Chandra River, which later becomes the Chandra Bhaga at the Confluence in Tandi Bridge.

The landscape is barren all around while the valley floor is lush green with fields of Barley, Potato and Hops fringed with trees of Willow & Poplar. En-route stop at the tiny hamlet of Chattru for refreshment.

Overnight stay at Sissu.

Day 9Sissu - Manali

After Breakfast leave for sacred sites that both Hindus & Buddhist revere these. After visiting these exquisite temples, leave for Manali through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft). Reach Manali by evening.

Day 10Manali Local City Tour & Departure

Today you will make a late start after a leisurely breakfast. We will visit Old Manali village, Hadimba Devi temple, and Vashist village (with hot water springs).

In the evening you are free to explore the Manali market and shops and to finish with your final shopping.

Evening you will be dropped at Manali Volvo Point for your Departure by Volvo .
